God has certain standards for your life, and the author of Hebrews tells us that one way to know that you are saved is to examine yourself to see if you are doing a better job living up to those standards as you progress through your walk with Christ. So if you want to know that your salvation is sure, be on constant alert to avoid falling short of the standard God has set for you.
