GO AHEAD AND BOAST (HEBREWS 3:6)
Does boasting seem to be consistent with the Christian gospel? It is if you have the proper subject to your boasting. It certainly is not appropriate to boast about anything you have personally contributed to your salvation. After all, you have contributed nothing worth boasting about. But we are encouraged to boast in the cross. Tell people about the sacrifice Jesus made for you and boast about Him. That is only one subject we discuss in this podcast. We also ask whether Hebrews 3:6, which tells us that we are saved if we hold on to our courage and hope, means that we can lose our salvation if we do not hold on to those things.
