Teaching Christians to Answer the World's Questions

AN IMPERFECT JESUS? (HEBREWS 2:10)

This lesson begins with some of Ken Coughlan's thoughts on the recent Ben Stein documentary "Expelled."  When we move on to today's Bible passage we learn that Jesus brought all believers "to glory."  But what does that mean?  Also, we have talked in the past about how God made all of creation, but the author of Hebrews takes this concept one step further.  All things are also made "for" God.  How does this new twist effect the way we should be living each day of our lives?  Finally, we close with the thought that forms the title of this podcast.  Hebrews says that Jesus was made "perfect through suffering."  But if the suffering on the cross "made" Jesus perfect, does that mean He was not perfect beforehand?  And if He wasn't perfect, what does it mean for our ability to get into heaven if Jesus does not have perfection to impute to us?
