OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW (HEBREWS 1:10-14)
Closing
out the first chapter of Hebrews, the author hammers the point home
that Jesus is God. Once again, we learn that all of creation was
performed through Christ. But this time we also learn that Christ will
have a hand in bringing the current heaven and earth to an end when the
time is right. For believers, though, this does not need to be a
terrifying concept. After the current creation ends it will be
replaced by a new heaven and new earth which believers get to enjoy.
