Ten Minas Ministries, Inc. is not solely a teaching ministry. We also seek to promote service to our fellow people in a variety of areas. Our primary service-related undertaking is the Ten Minas Disaster Relief Project, which seeks to help people who have been the victims of natural disasters. However, there are a few other service organizations that we support and feel are worthy of your prayerful consideration (none of which are affiliated in any way with Ten Minas Ministries). We would like to draw your attention to them along with links for more information.

Members of Ten Minas Ministries participate in the "Relay for Life" fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. This is the main annual fundraiser for the ACS. These "Relays" are held all across the country, but we specifically assist the Relay in Havre de Grace, Maryland. We have all had someone in our lives, if not ourselves, affected by cancer. This disease has sometimes been called the "plague of the 20th century", or we could now say the 21st. We need to find a cure, but it cannot be done without your help.
Compassion International is a Christ-centered child sponsorhip program. They are working in over 20 developing countries with over 3,400 projects and more than 760,000 children living in poverty. They partner with local churches and church-related organizations to help the children in their communities with the children's spiritual, physical, economic and social needs. In order to accomplish these goals, Compassion International provides assistance with school tuition and mentoring, life skills training, social skills, health care, food, and of course Christian education.
Ten Minas Ministries doesn't ask you to support a cause that we are not willing to support ourselves. Ten Minas sponsors a child in India through Compassion International, and we pray that God will call and enable you to do the same.
