THE SPEAKING SPIRIT (HEBREWS 3:7)
What is the Holy Spirit? Is it just a poetic way the Biblical authors described the power of God as He used it to work in the world, or is it something more? The author of Hebrews describes the Holy Spirit as "speaking." That is not the only attribute we see ascribed to the Spirit. Paul also described the Spirit as having a will of His own. One thing should be clear by the end of this podcast: the Holy Spirit is much more than simply some unseen force of God. The Spirit IS God. He is the third member of the Trinity.
