WHO IS IN CONTROL? PART 2 (HEBREWS 2:5-9)
If God gave mankind a stewardship over His creation then why do we not see everything subject to us today? Why are there so many things that we cannot control? Who or what is really in charge? If Jesus is not in control today, does that mean that we cannot have faith in God's promises for the future? Listen as the author of Hebrews describes how God's intended purpose for the stewardship of humanity was lost in the fall, but it will be reclaimed and perfectly established by Christ on the new Earth. We close this lesson with some standard and all-important Biblical truths. If God is perfect, how can we possibly live up to His perfect standard and join Him in heaven? How is it possible that Jesus is "lower than the angels" if He is the eternal God? How and why was Jesus crowned with glory and honor? What does the Bible mean by God's "grace"? And finally, does Hebrews 2:9 mean that Jesus died for everyone or only His elect?
