WHO IS THE FATHER?
The Father is probably the least controversial member of the Trinity. Most people who believe in an intelligent God but do not accept the Trinity would probably tell you that what Christians call "the Father" is actually the one true God. Most issues arise over the Son (Jesus) or the Holy Spirit. But in this lesson we will focus on the Father and answer three questions: (1) Is the Father God? (2) Is the Father a "person"? (3) What is the Father's role within the Trinity? These are the same questions we will be answering for all three members of the Trinity.
